Data Processing & Storage

Profile Data: We store your profile information (name, email, profile picture) on our secure servers to maintain your account and provide personalized services.

Uploaded Content: When you upload images or PDFs to generate quizzes, this content is processed locally on your device using Core Data. We do not store your uploaded images, PDFs, or the extracted text content on our servers. The content is only processed temporarily to generate quiz questions and is immediately deleted from our systems after processing.

Quiz & Flashcard Data: Generated quiz questions, flashcards and your quiz responses are stored locally on your device using Core Data for your convenience and learning progress tracking.

Data Usage

Your information helps us deliver, maintain, and improve VedIQ's services. We never sell your personal data to third parties and use it only as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Data Protection

We use industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

Account Deletion: When you delete your account through the settings page, this action is permanent and irreversible. All your personal data, including profile information, usage history, and associated content will be permanently removed from our systems. We cannot recover this information once deleted. It is your responsibility to backup any important data before proceeding with account deletion. VedIQ is not responsible for any loss of data or consequences resulting from your decision to delete your account.

• Google Gemini AI: We use Google's Gemini AI model to generate quiz content and educational materials. When you use our quiz features, your input may be processed by Gemini to create personalized learning content. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Gemini.
• Analytics Services: To understand how our app is used and improve user experience.
• Payment Processors: For secure payment processing if applicable.
• Communication Services: For customer support and notifications.
